PLATFORM 01 was created to provide an additional opportunity for more artists from the West Midlands to exhibit within the gallery system. In addition, we hope that, by coming to PLATFORM 01, and by experiencing a wide range of art, the new collector may feel inspired to start a personal collection, and the experienced collector motivated to add to an already-existing collection.
All commission from pieces purchased at PLATFORM 01 has gone to our chosen charity, Breast Cancer Care, a fantastic £420.25. One in nine women in the UK will develop breast cancer at some point in their lifetime. We hope that by encouraging awareness of this disease, and by our donating all commission from PLATFORM 01, we can help to prevent and cure breast cancer.
